Mike’s professional mission is to bring affordable, light-hearted artworks to people everywhere in the form of cotton and paper products. Mike is a modern day renaissance man. Because of this, he has a wide range of interests that he draws upon in his pencil, acrylic and oil illustrations. When Mike isn’t at the studio, he can be found on a local basketball court or in a neighborhood restaurant savoring the cuisine. A kid at heart, he enjoys Spider-Man, puppies and caffeinated liquids that are loaded with sugar.
Mike was born and raised in Central New York. He graduated from Syracuse University with a BFA in illustration. Mike resides in Washington, DC. Where he founded Tanoory Studios.
